Document Requirements

Before starting your registration, ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • National Registration Card (NRC) - Clear color copies of both front and back
  • Passport Photo - Recent photo (less than 6 months old)
  • Active Mobile Phone - Must be registered in your name with the network operator
  • Valid Email Address - Must be unique (not previously used for NAPSA registration)

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Access the Registration Portal

  1. Visit the official NAPSA iCare website at https://icare.napsa.co.zm
  2. Click on the "Register" button on the homepage
  3. Select "Create New Account" to begin the registration process

Step 2: Choose Your User Category

Select the category that best describes your situation:

  • Zambian Citizens in Zambia - Standard registration process
  • Zambian Citizens Abroad - Modified process for diaspora members
  • Foreign Nationals in Zambia - For non-Zambians working in Zambia
  • Foreign Nationals Abroad - For non-Zambians working outside Zambia

Step 3: Complete Personal Information

  1. Enter your full name as it appears on your NRC
  2. Provide your date of birth
  3. Enter your NRC number
  4. Select your gender and nationality
  5. Provide your current address details

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

  1. Upload clear copies of your NRC (front and back)
  2. Upload a recent passport photo
  3. Ensure all documents are in PDF, PNG, or JPG format
  4. File size must not exceed 5MB per document

  1. Create a strong password with minimum 10 characters
  2. Password must include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters

  4. Confirm your password by entering it again

Step 7: Terms and Conditions

  1. Read the data privacy consent carefully
  2. Review the terms and conditions
  3. Accept both agreements to proceed
  4. Submit your application for review

Step 8: Application Tracking

  1. Note down your reference number provided after submission
  2. You will receive SMS and email confirmation
  3. Track your application status using the reference number
  4. Wait for approval notification (2-3 business days)

Post-Registration

Once your application is approved:

  • You'll receive email and SMS confirmation
  • Your NAPSA member number will be provided
  • You can log in to access your member dashboard
  • Complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) updates
