NAPSA iCare supports instant payment processing with multiple methods. All payments are processed securely and tracked in real-time for immediate contribution allocation.

Payment Prerequisites

Important: Returns must be submitted and approved before payments can be processed. You cannot make payments for periods without approved returns.

Available Payment Methods

Bank Transfer (Direct Debit)
Direct transfer from your company bank account

Setup Requirements:

  1. Company bank account with participating bank
  2. Direct debit mandate registration with NAPSA
  3. Authorized signatory approval for online transactions
  4. Sufficient account balance for payment amount

Payment Process:

  1. Select "Bank Transfer" payment method
  2. Choose your registered bank
  3. Enter account details and authorization PIN
  4. Confirm payment details and amount
  5. Authorize transaction through bank's security process
  6. Receive payment confirmation (2-4 hours processing)

What is NPIN?

NPIN is Zambia's national payment system that provides secure, unified payment processing across all major financial institutions and mobile money providers.

NPIN Payment Features:

  • Universal Access: Works with any bank account or mobile money
  • Enhanced Security: Multi-factor authentication
  • Real-time Processing: Instant payment confirmation
  • Transaction History: Complete payment tracking
  • Lower Fees: Reduced transaction costs

NPIN Setup Process:

  1. Visit any participating bank or agent
  2. Register for NPIN using NRC and phone number
  3. Link your preferred payment source (bank account/mobile money)
  4. Set secure NPIN and transaction PIN
  5. Verify registration through SMS

Using NPIN for NAPSA Payments:

  1. Select "NPIN Payment" option
  2. Enter your registered NPIN number
  3. Choose linked payment source
  4. Enter transaction PIN
  5. Confirm payment via SMS OTP
  6. Receive instant payment confirmation

  • Payment Initiated - Transaction submitted for processing

Troubleshooting Payment Issues

Mobile Money Payment Failures:

  • Insufficient Funds: Top up mobile money account
  • Daily Limit Exceeded: Wait 24 hours or request limit increase
  • Network Issues: Retry payment or use alternative method
  • Wrong PIN: Reset mobile money PIN with network provider

Bank Transfer Issues:

  • Insufficient Balance: Ensure adequate account funds
  • Authorization Failed: Verify account details and signing rights
  • Bank System Down: Contact bank or try later
